On March 6, the GST SIB team raided the metal industry of father and son in Jalalpur and Ghudiabagh of Aligarh metropolis. During this, after checking the portal, investigation was done in the matter related to short deposit of tax. Goods worth Rs 50 lakh were seized at one place. At another place, goods worth Rs 20 lakh less than the declared stock were found. Documents have been sealed at both the places and investigation has been decided.
Under the direction of GST Additional Commissioner Grade 1 Dr. SS Tiwari, JC SIB Gulab Chandra, under the supervision of JC SIB Satendra Gautam, the team led by DC SIB RK Singh raided Shubham Industry, Khair Road, Jalalpur and Akshay Steels, Hathras Wala Pech Ghudiabagh. Both these firms belong to father and son. During the investigation, the argument was made that tax was not filed as per the turnover.
Undeclared goods worth Rs 50 lakh were found at one place. At another place, less goods worth Rs 20 lakh were found as per the goods declared in the stock register. During this period, stock register and purchase and sale documents were sealed. Now the tax will be determined after investigation. SIB Deputy Commissioner RK Singh, DC SIB Akhilesh Singh, Assistant Commissioner Shivkumar Singh, AC Abhishek Singh were present in the investigation team.
Deposit not included in garden investigation
The SIB team investigated Shaheen Garden in Anupshahr Road Dhaurramafi. During this period, even after the booking started, a notice was issued for non-filing of returns for one and a half years. During this time, AC SIB Abhishek Singh, AC SIB Shiv Kumar Singh arrived for investigation.
